Greenslopes Private Residence - Brisbane, QLD
Greenslopes is an inner-city suburb of Brisbane located approximately 6 km south of the CBD. The area is predominantly residential, with a limited retail presence, and is known for Greenslopes Private Hospital, Queensland’s largest private hospital. Recently, a local resident undertook a complete renovation of a 1905 workers’ cottage, integrating modern upgrades within the existing heritage structure.
Project Design Brief
Designers sought to achieve a visually cohesive bathroom floor by coordinating all drainage elements. This required a system that used a consistent grate profile for both the trapped central floor waste and the secondary linear shower channel. The selected solution incorporates the Quadrato grate across both applications, a shallow V-shaped channel to promote efficient water flow to the outlet, and flexibility to suit the shower floor dimensions.
